05:30 pm - It's Been A While...

yeah, it's been a while since I've updated my journal. been quite busy and if ever I did have the time to go on the net, it would be for a short period of time.

Neweiz, this week couldn't have been busier. I started Harry Potter 5 last friday night and finished it last Sunday evening, it was exciting. I simply couldn't put it down. Others have infinitely repeated that Harry had become irritable, and Sirius Black had died. That part really touched me, and almost moved me to tears.

*sigh*

There have also been a series of tests, projects and reports assigned to us. And having activities after school doesn't help much. Dancing drains all the energy in you. Algebra tutor makes you have a headache. Singing... well singing is okay except for the fact that your feet hurt because you have to stand the whole duration of your meeting. The only thing that gets me through the week is guitar lessons on Saturdays. And I'm supposed to practice but due to the amount of workload, I find it impossible. I'm also going out tomorrow afternoon with my friends for the celebration of Jiji's birthday. We're watching Ella Enchanted. Did I get that spelling right? Whatever.

Another thing that perks me up this week is my improvement in algebra. Also, I have been commented on Social Graces that I was "perfect" in walking and sitting. You have to remember to straighten your back, pull your shoulders back, deriere tucked in and under, stomach in..etc....I was so nervous because you have to do all this in front of your classmates..like modelling, only worse.

I'm also one of the dancers chosen to represent our class for making up a sort of dance that depicts how the magsasakas work. We only started this afternoon, and I must say that we're doing quite well.



Well, I better get going. 'Till next week, I think.

*sigh*

Just got home from jazz lessons, boy am I tired. Sweat is currently running down my forehead and neck...

Neweiz, today, there were a lot of distractions in during class. The teachers were late, classes were interrupted by sudden homeroom meetings for tomorrow's activity. Tomorrow, we are going to watch Sakada. I don't really know what's it all about but the whole high school population is going to Robinson's tomorrow just to watch it. We're going to occupy the whole movie house and no other school or outsider is allowed in. It's like we won't have class tomorrow 'cause at 8:20 am we will be moving out of the school and we'll be going to Robinson's. At 10, the show will start and it was estimated to be finished by around 12. We're supposed to eat lunch at school (no buying or sneaking out of lines to buy anything in the mall) the lunch hour extended to around 2 o'clock, then followed by the evaluation of the film. Boring.

The afternoon was more exciting. We had a speech festival, where representatives from the different year levels were to compete against each other in Extemporeaneous speaking, Oral Reading and Emceeing. Somehow, I lost a little of my voice cheering for my batchmates as they performed onstage. Scholasticans are truly talented. Lol.




Tomorrow is the end of the week...already?! Time flies so fast...*sigh* Will check out lyrics for Lacuna Coil's Heaven's A Lie first...

09:12 pm - WEEE!!

Feels good to be fifteen!

*breathes*


Well, first of all, I woke up early today, around six thirty... and ate breakfast 'coz I still had to go to guitar lessons at ten thirty.

Then lots of people greeted me..thank you to those who greeted me.


Neweiz, after lunch, I headed to the mall and met up with my friends for my birthday blow-out. Introduced some of my other friends to mother dear, especially the one courting me right now, John. Mom thinks he's handsome. Lol.



We watched Dawn of the Dead, which was really fun 'coz my friend, Rachel kept screaming which could be heard throughout the whole movie house. We were really noisy, I mean, really really noisy. And the soundtrack is cool too.

Then we went to Snap Shack to have our group pic taken. The bad thing was we had to wait a long, long time, for around twenty minutes. Then we ordered pizza from Pizza Hut and went to the food court to eat. It was fun, we laughed and talked, and we were noisy again.


Mom went home early, because supposedly my sister and her need to go to a fashion show. B-O-R-I-N-G. Then we decided to go to the arcade, but while going up the escalator, the guys I invited suddenly disappeared. I texted them to where they were and they told us to go down in front of the department store. Me and my friends were sort of pissed-off that we had to go down again.




I was really surprised when suddenly John came out from behind a post and walked toward me, something behind his back. I was thinking it was his gift, a teddy bear or something, then I was so surprised when he pulled out a single red rose. Everybody around me were looking at us, and I was blushing... and all my friends were kilig. They said they were sort of jealous 'coz no guy would do that for them, yet. I mean, really, in the mall, in the midst of lots of people? The boy's got guts, lots of it.

08:44 pm - Gosh...I'm Turning FIFTEEN!!!

OMIGOSH...just a few more hours 'till I turn fifteen!! Can't wait!

Neweiz, haven't updated for quite sometime...School work is definitely hard.. and my schedule after school is fully-booked:

Monday:jazz lessons
Tuesday:algebra tutor
Wednesday:algebra tutor(again)
Thursday:jazz lessons
Friday:voice lessons
Saturday:guitar lessons..and possibly choir practice
Sunday:finally..rest day...

I'm happy with my life, even if it's busy. I still have a great circle of friends who trust me..well, most of them, anyway.

Then, a Sister, my teacher, saw my notebook with a picture of me playing the guitar and she told me she would gather talented guitarists to accompany the singing during programs or mass.

And even though I don't have an electric guitar, yet, my loving grandfather still promises to give me one.*all smiles*




I have taken a love to goth music. Example of goth is Evanescence, but that's just the mainstream. You should check out underground bands, waaaay cool.



Hm... what else? Oh yeah! Since tomorrow is my special day, I'm going to have a "blow-out" if you know what I mean, at the mall. With my friends--guys included. And of course, my mom is the chaperone.

We're going to watch Dawn of the Dead and eat something from Pizza Hut...and definitely take a PICTURE!! haha!Ü

Can't wait!!!!

10:25 am - Haayyy...

It's friday at 10:21 in the morning. I'm not at school, I'm at my mom's office. Why? Because for the last four or five days my backside has been aching whenever I bend or walk. I got it checked up last night but it wasn't UTI because there was nothing wrong with the urinalysis. Later I'm going to the rehab center to get it looked up just in case. NO CLASS for me.

Actually, it's been quite sometime that I've updated my journal. School work is taking it's toll and I could barely use the computer, only for researches but I couldn't squeeze in time for updating.

My aunt just left for the States yesterday, meaning the computer in her room is free. And she even gave me a bag, it was an extra one that she couldn't fit inside the balik bayan box to sell to her friends abroad.

I'm bored. Nothing to do.







*sigh*

I'm still taking up guitar lessons, only now it's much more fun because I'm using an electric guitar. I'm learning stuff like how to read tabs and play lead guitar. I just can't wait 'till my birthday when kaka will buy me my own!! WEEE!! Rocking to the max!


Tomorrow I'm supposed to go out with my barkada at the mall and watch You Got Served because it's Grace's birthday. And there's a barkada thing we're going to do, two days ago we all bought the same bra from one of our kabarkada's AVON brochures and we're going to wear it tomorrow. Weird, really.



Will be going now. I have nothing better to do than to answer surveys and post them in friendster...hehe

I'm actually stealing time here. School has already started--last Wednesday--and now I'm doing research work for American Literature and CLE.

I can't believe I'm a Junior already! It seems really weird. The subjects are supposedly much harder. But this year, I definitely will listen. I swear I will.

Neweiz, I was absolutely thrilled that this year's computer course is Web Design Using HTML!!!! Finally, I could and will create my own webpage! Oh the joy!

11:29 am - Phew...

Just came from guitar lessons, and I'm here again in my mom's office. I already got the picture from the recital, and it was kinda okay, I mean the whole band was there, but I was sort of expecting a close up or something.

Neweiz, had a great time yesterday, Day After Tomorrow was a touching movie, and if you really pay attention to the movie, you should know it's secret message to the people of our society.





Yipee!!! Going out again later! I'm going to watch Harry Potter and The Prisoner of Azkaban with my mum and sis. I know it'll be crowded because it's a weekend and it just got out, but hey, I guess it's worth it.

I was supposed to go to Boracay today with my aunt, sis and two cousins, but somehow, the time doesn't fit. School already starts on Wednesday and I need a last minute outing of some sort. Still have voice lessons this afternoon though, before I watch Harry Potter...

Yes, I'm going out again, going to the mall to watch The Day After Tomorrow with Jessica. I have to make the most out of this week because school is coming up and its going to be busy, busy, BUSY!!!!

Sure, lots of stuff will be interesting this year. Intramurals, new teachers and subjects, possibly new friends, new acquaintances(from acquaintance parties), new schedule, new everything--prom night included.




And I actually plan on studying hard this year, just so I could get into a great college, take up my dream course--Journalism or MASCOM--did I spell that right?--Major in Journalism. I don't know how I am going to balance everything, meaning studies and social life, but I will try...can't wait!

01:23 pm - Alert! School Days Fast Approaching!

Yes, school opens next week. And I'm sort of excited yet, sort of scared because the subjects are harder. There's trigonometry and chemistry...and lots more..I'm not sure I could cope with.

Neweiz, I'm here in my mom's office. I just went here because I had to use the computer. Bad news, I am not off the ban, that is why I'm using the computer here in the office.



By the way, Happy Birthday to _thenothing_!!! Miss ya cuz!

I can't wait 'till my birthday. Why? Because my lovable and understanding grandfather, Kaka, volunteered to buy me what I have been wanting to have these past few months--an electric guitar. What is great about electric guitars is that even though you just play around without really know what you are doing, you actually create rock music. It's true, my guitar teacher said so.

Now, I have to go..check out my other accounts, mail included.

Damn bored here at home. I've finally gotten my chance to be on the computer, and it's not exactly worth the day's wait.

lakhi woke me up this morning literally by a wake-up call. It was good to hear his voice again, i like it when guys speak english. *smileys* His sister, Shana had her b-day party today so he was kinda busy since he was the planner. I also received a package from him, it was just food. Otap and Dried mango, my fave! Complete with letter.

In the PM, I was supposed to go to guitar lessons, but since I'm not going to the recital anymore, I just skipped the practice session. I went with mom to the mall to buy Sofia(my cousin) a gift. I also bought my school shoes. This is the first time I actually went with mom to the mall and not disagree with her.






I miss my cousins in Manila... all of them. First of all, _thenothing_ and mlina. *sighs* We never did get to finish that song... I miss Marc and his almost never ending state of depression. I miss Bea and manong Will. I miss my aunts and uncles....heh! Gsto ko na bumalik diyan!!!

Hehehe! Just came from the mall,with my sis! Met up with two old friends from our junior zookeeper workshop which was two years ago. I really had a good time.

Okay..bad news this time. Um.. mother, does not believe in me. She won't let me go to the recital because she doesn't think I'm good enough to play in it. She actually thinks I'll make a fool out of myself. I know, I'm just going to try, nobody's perfect! I know a lot of new beginners there, I just wish I could go.

I must be hoping for a miracle.

Just came from guitar lessons. Now I feel like a real rocker, and everything. I practiced with the electric guitar, strap and all. Sir Ace even put companiment by using the organ. Can't wait for the recital really. There's only two girls who will be playing the electric guitar-me and some other girl. It's like I also didn't want to leave the "classroom" because I was having so much fun with playing. I can't wait for me to have my own.

When I left, my teacher said, "Bye, rocker!" and we both laughed.

02:55 pm - What A Day..And It's Not Even Over!

Yesterday, my aunt invited me to play badminton with her today. As a practice for today, we played badminton--inside the house. Good thing the ceiling was high, and even if one of the shuttlecocks got stuck on the ledge near the ceiling, we continued playing with another shuttlecock.

Woke up early today so I could go badminton with my aunt at a court located near a mall. When I got home, I was so tired all I did was kick off my tennis shoes and climbed up my bed to sleep again. Nice feeling, really.

Then while I was sleeping, Mama Bang disturbed by going in the room and shouting at my sis, who was reading Harry Potter 4. She told us that whenever she will treat everyone to lunch or dinner, next time, me and my sister will not come along. Fine with me, like I care. I'd rather be at home than stay with the old bloke. I don't want to live in this house anymore, if only I could just transfer, I'm really getting fed up.

Neweiz, I've been waiting for about four or five hours for the electricity to come back so I could go online. Finally! And the DSL is working again, thank you Lord!

Woke up at around 12 o'clock. Had been disturbed by my sister a million gazillion times because she was preparing to go to the mall with her friend and she was in a hurry because she was late. She kept yelling at mom and dad about stuff and calling her friend over the phone telling her stuff. Poor kid.

Supposedly I'm in the office downtown because I have guitar lessons at 3 o'clock but dad said we would have to go later because Mama Bang doesn't like us kids (she called me a kid! I'm fourteen!) to be there. Somehow she thinks we're a nuisance, which I am NOT! She is the nuisance really, and all of the employees there are tense because of her presence. Freaky.
